She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy James Keesey and Margaret Keesey (Mikkelsen); her husband Max David Sandeman; and her siblings, Leroy "Sonny" Keesey and Dorothy Sullivan.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Sandeman of Ames, Kaye Sandeman of Coralville, Scott Sandeman (Teri) of Lake City and Beth Nielsen (Todd) of Creston; her grandchildren, Tyler Barrett (Lily), Colin Sandeman (Taylor), Keaton Sandeman, Olivia Irr (Ben), Evan Nielsen and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Willow, Wave Sandeman, Malcom and Ellis Barrett. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to Crestmoor Golf Club, to McKinley Park for the purchase of trees, and Southwestern Community College.
