William Walker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Walker of Cresco, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Walker and Bertha Walker (Hovey); his daughter Rhonda Walker; and his siblings, Howard, Gerald, Wallace, Dorothy Stahl and Darlene Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Wentworth; his daughters, Shirley Sovereign (Dave), Loree Kinney, Linda Platz (Gary), Jane Gadow (John), Lisa Walker and Janice Croat (Randall); and his nephew David Lewis (Bill). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Howard County Community Hospice, the Evans Memorial Home, or 1st Lutheran Church in Cresco. Keep William "Bill"'s legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
