She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Lucas and Sarah Lucas (Kerst); her husband Gary Bruening; her pet Sparky; her parents-in-law, Vince and Evelyn Bruening (Schultz); her siblings-in-law, Douglas A. McIntyre, Richard Larsen and Diane Bruening; her nephew Douglas G. McIntyre; and her niece Jennifer Bruening.
She is survived by: her sisters, Shirley Larsen of Elma and Sharron McIntyre of Decorah; and her brothers-in-law, Doug Bruening (Donna) and Richard Bruening. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
