He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Bruening of Cedar Rapids, IA; his friend William "Al" Levis of Cedar Rapids, IA; his stepson Jon Myers of Dubuque, IA; his son-in-law Dennis Zweibohmer (Susan) of Ionia, IA; his grandchildren, Katelyn Zweibohmer of Charles City, IA, Gabriel Zweibohmer of New Hampton, IA and Kenneth Zweibohmer of Ionia, IA; his brother Doug Bruening of Cresco, IA; his mother-in-law Anna Myers of Cresco; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Myers (Beverly Blaess) of Ridgeway, IA and Bill Winsell of Decorah, IA..
