He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Olsgard and Rose Olsgard (Johnson); his daughter Cindy Nelson; and his sisters, Mary Olson (Clarence) and Rosella Olson (Lenard).
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Bohach of Cresco; and his children, Lolita Buttolph (Keith) of Riceville, Peter Olsgard (Carrie) of Cresco, Arleen Kinter (Jon) of Riceville, Connie Meyer (Tom) of Spillville, Perry Olsgard (Michelle) of Pine Island, Holly Robson (Ron) of Panora, John Olsgard (Deb) of Decorah and Jeff Olsgard (Brenda) of Dover. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
