With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin J. Koudelka of Cresco, Iowa, who passed away on August 11, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Koudelka and Bessie Koudelka (Frana); his wife Emma Jean; and his sister Dorothy Koudelka. He is survived by: his sons, Darryl Koudelka (Annette) of Nevada, IA, Todd Koudelka of Sun Prairie, WI and Scott Koudelka (Gretchen) of Hastings, MN; his grandchildren, Wendy Stanley (Isaac), Megan Wochinski (Paul), Danny Koudelka (Rebecca), Jill Connors (Mike), Brian Koudelka, Michaela Koudelka, Caleb Koudelka, Lexy Dolley (Stephen), Noah Koudelka, Ethan Koudelka, Katelin Ziemer (Brandon) and Jennifer Brown (Jake); his siblings, Jane Huegel (Bernie) of Alta Vista, IA and David Koudelka (Kathy) of Cresco; and his brothers-in-law, Kenny Burgess (Donna) and Charles Burgess of Cresco, IA. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
