She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Thayer (Stahl) and Clarence Thayer; her daughter Shirley Riha; and her siblings, Guy Thayer, Bill Thayer, Bob Thayer, Raulf Thayer (Ronnie Thayer), Marcella Brooks and Lorraine Lawver.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Edward S. Riha and Donald Potter; her children, Laine Riha of Cresco, John Riha (Lori) of New Haven and Toni Vrieze (Brian) of Cresco, Iowa; her stepsons, Dean Potter (Rachael) of Rochester and Thomas Potter (Tammy) of Grandy; her grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Heather, Danielle, Taylor, Jordan and Brady; her stepgrandchildren, Lily, Gavin, Josh and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Mica, Dane, Lexi, Annabella, Lincoln, Landry, Kamden and Lawson; and her siblings, Marian Anderson of Decorah, Helen Whitcher-Miller of Fayette, Dale Thayer of Monona and Jeanette Schafer of St. Charles, Minnesota..
