We bid farewell to Leona Kriener of Cresco, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 9, 2025 at the age of 90. Leona touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gebel and Helen Gebel; and her husband Luke Kriener. She is survived by: her son Kenny of Jackson Junction; and her siblings, Robert, Francis, LeRoy, Jaen Hageman, Marilyn Burns, Lucille Reicks, Loretta Kleve and Doris Balik.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (3303 160th St, Lawler, IA 52154). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
