She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Rosonke and Clara Rosonke (Schwickerath); her husband George Herold; her daughters, Sharon Herold and Linda Irvine; her grandchildren, Justin Irvine and Tamara Sharma; her siblings, Harold Rosonke (Myrtle), Donald Rosonke (Eleanor), Glen Rosonke (Mary) and Lorna Gorman (Donald); and her brothers-in-law, Quentin Brus and Edmund Herold (Marie).
She is survived by: her children, Al Herold (Mary) of Windsor, CO, Bonnie Blaylock (Forrest) of De Pere, WI, Janice Moehn (Dave) of Fort Madison, IA, Mary Martin (Russ) of Ithaca, NY, Larry Herold (Evelyn) of Golden, CO and Joe Herold (Cindy) of Foxfield, CO; her son-in-law Jeff Irvine of Easton, KS.; and her siblings, Mildred Brus of Alta Vista, IA and Jerry Rosonke (Malee) of Mansfield, SD. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Notre Dame Catholic Church (116 3rd St E, Cresco, IA 52136). Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
