She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wilken and Elda Wilken (Fenneman); her children, Douglas and Teresa; and her sister Jeanette.

She is survived by: her husband Romane Matthias; her children, Kim Bentz and Rodney Matthias (Lori); her grandsons, Benjamin Matthias and Ryan Dietzenbach; and also, Juanita Backer (Larry) and Jeanne Fuerstenberg (Ron). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
