It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Daley of Cresco, Iowa, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwin Strong Sr. and Joyce Ritter; her husband Bob Daley; her sons, Bryce Gunhus and Kim "Charlie" Gunhus; and her siblings, Gregory and Dorothy Stoll.
She is survived by: her children, Shawn Gunhus (Lauren), Shane Gunhus (Amy) and Brittany Blaess (Alexander); and her siblings, William, Michael, Kathy, Cynthia "Cindy" and Lonnie. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cresco Community Chapel (24024 IA-9, Cresco, IA 52136). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
