With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Watson of Cresco, Iowa, born in Tama, Iowa, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Gray and Mildred Gray; her husband Carrol Watson; her sisters, Elaine (Bob Robinson) and Ardyth (Dick Nath); and her siblings-in-law, Elaine (Burdette Jacobson) and Bill Sizer.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Watson (Sheree) of Charles City, Laurie Watson (Ibrahim Butler) of Winona, MN, Tom Watson (Teresa) of Saratoga, Tim Watson of Saratoga and Jenny Brausey (Paul) of Spencer, IA.; her grandchildren, Cory, Nick, Joni, Maddy, Brandon, Joshua, Levi, David and Crystal; her brothers, Howard (Rosemary Gray) and Jim (Karen Gray); her sister-in-law Shirley Sizer; and also Evelyn. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Memorial donations are being directed to Riceville Family Care Center or St. Croix Hospice in Charles City.
