He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Mander and Eileen Mander (Young); his son Wayne Clarke Mander; and his grandson Nicolas Olive. He is survived by: his wife Karen Herman of Crescent, Iowa; his children, Jennifer Ligouri (James) of Ames, Iowa and Brian Mander (Angela) of Overland Park, Kansas; his daughter-in-law Sharla Mander of Gilbert, Iowa; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Alec, Griffin, Samantha, Sydney, Max, Eva (Ben) and Chance (Charlee); his great grandchild Mavrik; and his siblings, Keith Mander (Charlotte) of Honey Creek, Ronald Mander (Donna) of Omaha, Jerry Miller (Janice) of Omaha and Gina Lindeman (Steve) of Crescent.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Soderstrum Funeral Home - Story City (618 Lafayette Ave, Story City, IA 50248). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Grace United Methodist (624 Elm Ave, Story City, IA 50248).
