He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. Thompson and Peggy L. Thompson (Haven); his son Michael; and his brother Skip Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Heather Thompson of Council Bluffs, Kendra Thompson of North Platte and Matthew Thompson of Council Bluffs; his grandchildren, Cayden and Luke; and his sisters, Carolyn Klear (Russ) and Cheryl Berg (Dennis) of Omaha.
A lunch will follow at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. The family will direct memorial contributions.
