He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Anderson and Milda Anderson (Dorman); his former wife Dorothy Anderson; his brother Arlon Anderson; his granddaughter Laura Anderson; and his stepmother Ethel Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife June White; his children, Don Anderson (Kathey), Larry Anderson (Debby), Joyce Springer (Norm) and Jan Meis (Bob); his sister Myrt Anderson; his grandchildren, Dan Anderson (Brandy), Sara McCrory (Eric), Marcy Penrod (Jeremy), Ryan Anderson (Ellen), Jessica Bass (Zach), Jennifer Nihart (Eric), Nole Springer (Liz), Brent Springer, Kristen Springer, Brock Meis (Emily) and Connor Meis (Emmaline); and his stepdaughters, Cynthia Sisser and Karen Kinnean (Troy). He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Salem United Methodist Church (14955 Somerset Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
