He is survived by : his mother Sharon Owen (Ackerman); his close friend Richard "Shawn" Wittrock; his sister Sandra Owen; his grandmother Flo Ackerman; and his aunts and uncles, Rick Owen (Carol) of Council Bluffs, Carl Ackerman (Susan) of Council Bluffs, Judy Freeman (Gary) of Wichita and Connie Steinhorst (David) of Melbourne, Florida. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
