He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Aquinas; his wife Joan Daubert Lenihan; and his sisters, Eileen Koehler and Mary Kathryn Eyberg. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Lenihan (Roberta) of Council Bluffs, IA, Patricia Bennett (Sheri Wilson) of Hickman, NE, Renee Jackson of Melbourne, Dennis Lenihan (Sabrina) of Supply, NC, Anne Axberg (Bill) of Raleigh, NC and Teresa Mann (Larry) of Supply, NC. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Corpus Christi Parish - Queen of Apostles Church.
