As Thomas departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Thomas leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Edmund A. McGinn. He is survived by: his wife Karen McGinn; his children, Annalisa McGinn and Marcus McGinn (Kelsie); his stepchildren, Tifany Wolla (Josh), Tianna Weymer (Doug) and Michael Hoschar (Hannah); his mother Mary Margaret McGinn; and his siblings, Kellie McGinn, Pat McGinn (Tammy) and Maureen McGinn. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.
A reception was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Community Room at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
