With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Espinosa (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on July 16, 2023 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sylvia Espinosa to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Remo Elonich and Mary Elonich (Leka); her husband Joe; her siblings, Angela Hanafan, Steve, Peter, Bayo and Joseph Elonich; and her daughter-in-law Allison Espinosa.

She is survived by: her children, John Espinosa (Kathleen) of Idaho Falls, ID, Toni Petersen (Kurt) of Missouri Valley, IA. and Julie Kuhn (Dan) of Tampa, FL.; and her sisters, Christina Buchholz of Council Bluffs, Yvonne Dorman of Prescott, AZ. and Helen McCashland of Clinton Township, Michigan. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Corpus Christi Church or Nebraska's Animal Loving Advocates (NALA) Rescue.
