She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Sweet and Lois Sweet (Jenkins); her husband Edward McConnell; her brother Robert Sweet; and her sister-in-law Norma McConnell.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Bonham (Roger) of Council Bluffs, Craig McConnell (Tina) of Council Bluffs, Diane Woods of Council Bluffs, Sharon Adrian of Council Bluffs, Ed McConnell, Jr. (LuRene) of Council Bluffs and Angie Ceder (Jay) of Nolanville, Texas; and her extended family John Davis. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic church, 1 Bluffs St. in Council Bluffs.
