It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shannon Marie Core of Council Bluffs, Iowa, born in Harlan, Iowa, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence M. Mallonee Philson and Lowell E. Philson; her brother Arthur E. Philson; her husband Glenn Core; her grandson Kirby Core; and her sister Shari Sickbert (Bonnie Jean Jenson).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas E. Core (Kathy) of Wake Forest, N. C. and Priscilla M. Miner (David Winkler) of Phoenix, AZ; her grandsons, Michael and Allen Miner; and her great grandchildren, Georgia May Flickinger (Core), Jordyn Core Miner and Callie Core Miner.
