He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schnackenberg and Judy Schnackenberg (Lemaster); and his father-in-law Leland Thoren. He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his daughters, Shauna Parker, Abigail, Jordan and Zoey Schnackenberg; his siblings, Randy Schnackenberg (Sandy) and Ronda Brandon (Mark); his mother-in-law Jeannie Thoren; and his sisters, Heidi Carpenter (William) and Jenny Slagle (Mike). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
