She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred H. Minor and Harriet E. Minor (Claar); her son Tony Vachal, Sr.; and her sister Fritzy Mae Dye. She is survived by: her husband Joe Vachal of Council Bluffs; her sons, Terry Vachal (Judy) of Papillion, NE and Tom Vachal (Karey) of Highland Village, TX; and her sister Patricia Denson of Council Bluffs. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (1 Bluff St, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A rosary will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:40 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Midlands Humane Society, 1020 Railroad Highway St. Unit A in Council Bluffs.
