With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald M. Hastie of Council Bluffs, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hastie and Maxine Hastie (Chaney); his wife Dorothy; and his siblings, Larry, Donald, John, Bonnie, Patricia and Nancy.
He is survived by: his children, Jody Humbert (Margaret), Roni Hastie, Marcia Donner (David) and Jeff Hastie (Kim); his grandchildren, David, Brittney, Jordan, Taylor and Cheyanne; his great grandchildren, Marlee, Denver, Mason, Nevaeh, Ellie, Phoenix and Jayden; and his siblings, Barb Francis, Sandy Love and Harold Hastie (Debbie).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
