He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Stephens; his parents, Roland Stephens and Alice Stephens; his siblings, Gary, Phillip and Marilyn; his children, Joshua Stephens, Hillary Kysar (Kristopher Kysar), Tristan Stephens and Laurel Stephens; and his brother Philip Stephens. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Roger and Kathy enjoyed helping others in their community and would provide meals and donate goods to others in need.
