He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothea M. Hansen (Jensen) and Clarence T. Hansen; his wife Lois LaVonne Hansen (Dorn); and his son-in-law James E. Doherty. He is survived by: his children, Susan K. Doherty of Yorktown, VA, Steven (Stephani) of Council Bluffs and Scott (Carmen) of Tabor; his grandchildren, Sean Doherty (Carmen), Shannon Stickler (Jason) of Richmond, VA, Molly Fellows (Josh) of Council Bluffs, Declan, Harper Doherty, Delaney, Brenna Stickler and Ruby Fellows; his brother Chuck Hansen (Lila) of Council Bluffs; and his brothers-in-law, Don Dorn (Donna) of Milford, IA and Larry Dorn (Phyllis) of Ankeny, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
