We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2024, at the age of 75, Richard Peterson (Council Bluffs, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Richard find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Peterson and Erma Peterson (Deputy); and his brother Joe Peterson. He is survived by: his wife DeLoy "Dee" Peterson; his children, Jeff Peterson, Kent Peterson (Julia), Chad Peterson, Kendal Peterson, Cortney Peterson and Korey Peterson; and his sisters, Linda Garvel and Chris Jelinek. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
