She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Jacobs and Dorothy Jacobs (Warner); her husband Nuel Burgess; her son Darrell Burgess; her siblings, Ronald Jacobs, Harry Jacobs, Jim Jacobs and Shirley Coco; and her daughter-in-law Christie Burgess.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Burgess, Greg Burgess and Tina Fisher (Mike); her siblings, Alan Jacobs Steven Jacobs (Shirley) and Linda Barr (Virgil); and her sister-in-law Lu Jacobs. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
