It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia A. Thompson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Soukup and Helen Soukup (Sullivan); and her brother Joseph Soukup. She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Severn (Michael) of McClelland and Laura Daniels (Jeff) of Glenwood, Iowa; her husband Michael Thompson; and her grandchildren, DJ Gilmore (Savannah) of Missouri, Trevor Hawk (Emily) of Missouri, Justin Armstrong of Omaha, Jesse Armstrong of Omaha, Bobby Hiatt of McClelland and Brooklynn Hiatt of McClelland. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
