It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Mayo Sales of Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on September 27, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael Mayo shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael Mayo farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Sales and Martha Sales (Mayo); and his daughter Lisa Marie. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sales (Smith) of Council Bluffs; and his daughters, Laura of Kansas City, MO and Gracelyn of Council Bluffs.

In lieu of flowers, the family will direct memorial contributions.
