She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Fischer and Anastasia Fischer (Ryan); her husband James; her granddaughter Shawn Gibson; her children-in-law, Rick McLees and Cecilia Schnitker; and her siblings, Virginia Simon, Frank, Bob, Dick, Don and Rev. Eugene Fischer.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Schnitker (Sharon), Elkhorn, Ellen McLees, Wellington, Connie Hamilton (Ed), Tom Bean, Kevin Schnitker, Pat Schnitker, Surprise, David Schnitker (Joni) and Colleen Medearis (Harold); her brother Harold Fischer (Hiroka); her sister-in-law Margaret Fischer (Neola); and her friend Blanchard Johnson, Jr.. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Corpus Christi Catholic Church or St. Albert Schools.
