It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Mefferd of Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Mefferd and Odelia Mefferd (Bauer); his daughter Theresa Street; his grandsons, Adam Kroll and Mark Tyler; his stepson Floyd Ruby; and his siblings, Sheila, Sharon, Daniel, Ronald and Leslie.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Wagner (Bob) of Woodbine, Guy Mefferd (Sunny) of Louisburg, Colleen Lembke (Gorden) of Sheffield, Vivian Williams (Bruce) of Woodbine, Michelle Rains of Arion, Veronia Nelson (Marty) of Dunlap and Lois Stockton (Jimmy) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his siblings, Bob Mefferd of Dunlap, Virgil Mefferd of Battle Creek, Bernadine Behm of Winterset, Marlene Schumann of Battle Creek and Linda Thomson of Marcus, Iowa; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Mefferd of Dunlap, Iowa. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
