With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Ann Yager in Council Bluffs, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph August John Fischer and Anna Mathilde Bremer Fischer; and her husband Bill. She is survived by: her sister Ruth Tempel of Vero Beach, FL; her children, Kimberly Kerr of Des Moines, Michael Yager and Kristine Yager-Rushton (Edward Rushton) of Statesboro, GA.; her grandchildren, Miles Kerr (Katian) of Glendale, CA, Evan (Danielle Lewis) of Carlisle and Erica Yager (Dylan Medina) of Des Moines; and her great grandchild Murphy Kerr of Carlisle.

Tributes and condolences may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
