It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Carson (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hunter and Hazel Hunter (Greenwood); her spouse Jerry Carson; her siblings, Norma Edwards and Jim Hunter; her siblings-in-law, LeMae Dupuis, Donna Prince, Darlene Greenwood, Barb Koory, Bob Carson, Bob Edwards, Jr. and Burke Greenwood; and her nephews, Bob Edwards III and Evan Edwards.
She is survived by: her son Pat Barton; her grandchildren, Rick Thompson, Sarah Thompson (Jennifer Weuve), Jeff Thompson (Haley Vetick), Emma Thompson, Pat Gillespie (Rachel), Nolan Gillespie (Jordyn), Carson Gillespie and Andy Brabec; her great grandchildren, Hank Gillespie, Lainey Gillespie and Barritt Thompson; and her siblings, Mark Hunter (Jerre), Nini Schneider (Don) of St. Louis, Joe Hunter (Sue) and Carol Martin. She is also survived by her 34 nieces and nephews; 75 great-nieces and nephews and even great-great-nieces and nephews.
