He was predeceased by: his father Jose Villarreal; and his siblings, Elida Villarreal and Jose Villarreal Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Juanita Villarreal (Cruz); his wife Betty Villarreal; his children, Christina Dean (Mike), Jerry Villarreal (Margot) and Joseph Villarreal (Nicole); his siblings, Mary Morin, Jesse Villarreal (Patti), Josie Sanchez, Eva Villarreal, Juanita Villarreal, Connie Cosley, Elsa Byrd (Bill) and Carlos Villarreal (Elsa); and his grandchildren, Paige Dean, Bevin Dean, Seth Villarreal (Amy), Joseph Villarreal, Delaney Villarreal, Danielle Villarreal and James Villarreal. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
