Linda left this world on February 17, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Rodenburg and Imogene Rodenburg; and her brother Mike Rodenburg. She is survived by: her husband Ronny Kay of Minden, IA; her children, Roger Kay (Brenda) of Minden, IA, Dale Kay (Shari) of Shelby, IA, Ronda Holtz (Lelyn) of Avoca, IA and Randy Kay of Minden, IA; her grandchildren, Sabrina Butcher (Ethan Bearley), Katlyn Patzner (Ethan), Brittany Griffis (Devon), Marissa Kay (Zach Hagadon), Chelsea Chew (James), Jaysen Kay, Emily Kay and Lily Duncan; her great grandchildren, Easton Griffis, Zuri Patzner, Malani Kay and Malichi Kay; and her sisters, Sharon Siebels (Bob) of Minden, IA and Pat Cavanaugh (Mark) of Midlothian, TX. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Silver Creek United Methodist Church - Hancock (36440 Pinoak Rd, Hancock, IA 51536).
Memorials are suggested to the Minden American Legion or Silver Creek UMC.
