He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford "Pat" Grieder and Hazel E. Grieder (Twomey); his wife Marilyn (Lear); and his siblings, Ralph, Joanne Barrier and Connie Shriver.
He is survived by: his children, Tim, Carol Grieder and Dan Grieder (Mary) of Council Bluffs; his grandsons, Jonathan Grieder (Kristi), Michael Grieder (Spring), David Grieder and Christopher Grieder (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Nora, Kate, Amelia, Luca and Sonnie Lee; his sisters, Mary Pat Schierbrock, Neola, Rosezita Adams (Tom) of Chickasaw, OK and Pauline Roll of Dewey, AZ; and his close friend Goldie Welch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
