He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Eickholt and Deloris Eickholt; his son-in-law Scott Higgins; his siblings, Gary Eickholt and Ann Heflin; and his brother-in-law Paul Kerber (Joyce).
He is survived by: his wife Inella Kerber of Council Bluffs; his children, Lisa Higgins of Jacksonville, FL, John Eickholt (Maureen) of Council Bluffs and Jeff Eickholt of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Jessica Higgins (Bryan), Joseph Eickholt (Alissa), Emma Eickholt (Connor), Jackson Eickholt, Ella Eickholt and Ava Eickholt; his great grandchild Emilia Eickholt; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Eickholt, Paul Heflin (Martha), Max Kerber (Candy) and Marvin Kerber (Darlene); and his friends, Jim and Rachel Simmons. He is also survived by family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed by the family.
