He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Kuta; and his brother Ron Kuta. He is survived by: his wife Sheri Danker-Kuta; his daughters, Melanie Jackson (Tim), Natalie Horton (Jared) and Amber Hannah (Jason); his siblings, Jerry Kuta (Delores), Steve Kuta (Marcia) and Paulette Kuta; and his stepson Jerrod Danker (Amanda). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
