She was predeceased by: her father James "Jim" Hermeling; her grandparents, Leonard, Lucille Heller (Hanrahan), Anthony and Margaret Hermeling (Murray); her in-laws, Benny and Shirley Simon (Martin); and her brothers-in-law, Patrick and Gary Simon.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Hermeling (Heller) of Manilla, IA; her husband Jeff "Fry" Simon; her son JP Simon of Council Bluffs; her brother Kevin Hermeling (Kiely) of Gretna, NE; and her siblings-in-law, Mike Simon (Liz) of Odebolt, IA, Sue Simon (S. O.) of Grundy Center, IA and Nancy Simon of Sutherland, IA. She is also survived by 1 nephew, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will direct memorial contributions.
