He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Porter and Virginia Porter (Hays); and his wife Gloria Porter. He is survived by: his son Richard (Grace Porter); his grandchildren, Madeline, Jacob, Kamryn and Bennett Porter; his sisters, Mary Love of Council Bluffs, Barbara Porter of Scottsdale, AZ., Patty (Joseph Arent) and Peggy (Bruce Hansen); and his former wife Linda Sommer of Meridian, Idaho.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
