He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cox and Sarah Cox (Soles); his wife Shirley Cox; his grandson Steven Michael Lollman; his stepson Wayne Myler; and his siblings, Ronald Cox, Major Causey, Bobby Causey and Florence Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, William Cox, Josey Dozler (Gary) and Denise Lollman (David); and his sisters, Wanda Thompson and Cheryl Coble.
