He was predeceased by: his father Vincent B. Lydon; and his sisters, Mary Ann Yates and Linda Sluyter (Raymond). He is survived by: his mother Frances H. Lydon (McCarthy); his wife Helen Wittmuss; his children, Stacey Whittington (Jamie Sommerville) and Joshua Lydon (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Sydney, Alexandra Whittington and Kiele Lydon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family has suggested memorials to American Heart Association and Make-A-Wish.
