He is survived by: his wife Heidi (Plager) of Council Bluffs; his children, Scott Penney of Council Bluffs, Steven Penney (Tina) of Council Bluffs, Shawn Penney (Cassidy) of Council Bluffs, Thomas Cheney (Elizabeth) of Lincoln, NE and Tess Cheney of Council Bluffs; his grandchildren, Alexis, Adrianna, Braylin, Kyla, Madilyn, Sawyer, David and Hope; his siblings, Barbara Collins of Council Bluffs and Charles Penney (Cathy) of Spicewood, TX; and his mother-in-law Ruby Plager of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
