Jay Sheely Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Sheely (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norvin Sheely and Arlene Sheely (Gaines); and his sister Susan Paladino. He is survived by: his children, Chad Palmer (Kim), Bob Palmer and Elizabeth Haschke (Matt); his wife Mary Sheely; his sisters, Gay Wernett and Kathy Sorrell; his nephew Michael Sorrell; his niece Mary Lindstrum (Marc); and his grandchildren, Gage, Minnette, Jeremiah, Addison, Dylan, Riley and Ben.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
