She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Smith and Mildred Colone. She is survived by: her husband Tim Peters (Omaha); her sisters, Sandra Howe (Frank) of Concord, CA and Kim Smith (Joni Cleveland) of Carter Lake, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Geri-Ann DeBolt of Ashland, NE and Mary Tiarks (Warren) of Des Moines, IA.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Braman Mortuary (72 St Chapel) (1702 N 72nd St, Omaha, NE 68114). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (7602 Military Ave, Omaha, NE 68134).
Memorials can be made to the charity of choice; Parkinsons support organizations, Heart and Cancer charities and of course animal shelters.
