He was predeceased by: his father James W. Barrier; his brother Rodney D. Barrier; his niece Katie Jefferis; his nephew Zachary Bronson; and his sister-in-law Penny Barrier.
He is survived by: his daughter April Behnke (Chris); his grandchildren, Evelyn, Nora and Ethan; his daughter Jamie (Jeremy Rejda); his grandsons, Nicholas, Gabriel, Ezekiel and Theodore; his stepchildren, Shawn, Jon Rodriguez and Nick Sutton; his siblings, Teresa Barrier, Pam Shea (Shawn), Steve, Joe and Mark Barrier; and his close friend Kathy Sweenie O'Neil. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A gathering will follow at Whistle's Pub & Grub, 807 So. 21st St. The family will direct memorial contributions.
