He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. DeBoer and Venita DeBoer (Francis); his son Chester DeBoer; and his siblings, Allen and Caroline Plummer.
He is survived by: his grandson Dean Allen DeBoer of Estherville, Iowa; his great grandchild Jace; his siblings, Robert DeBoer of Council Bluffs, Charlotte Porter of Council Bluffs and Josie Sweet of Sho Low, Arizona; and his girlfriend Mary Ann Johnson of Omaha. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
