It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary D. Strong (Council Bluffs, Iowa), born in Creston, Iowa, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Strong and Marjorie Strong (Hoffman); and his brothers, Gene and Terry Strong. He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Siegner); his daughter Julie Petersen (Jerry); his grandchildren, Jema Jacobs (Brian) and Jacob Petersen (Kait); his great grandchildren, Bryson, Adalyn Jacobs, Ledger and Wilder Petersen; his mother-in-law Joyce Siegner of Carroll, Iowa; his sister Sharon Burhenne; and his half-brother Dennis Jarvis (Mary). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
