He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Sillik and Ruth Sillik (Stohlman); his wife Monica Sillik; his son-in-law Jim Latta; and his great grandchild Silas Coats.
He is survived by: his children, Fred Sillik, Jessann Kellar (Rick), Patrick Sillik, Chris Gorman (Steve), Ellen Coats, Jean Kelly and Suzanne Latta (Ty Melton); his brother Bill Sillik; and his close friend Nancy Needham. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Hillcrest Hospice.
